WHAT is Claimant WebFile?
The Claimant WebFile is the Virginia Victim’s Fund online portal where new applicants may submit applications, upload supporting documents, and check the status of their claims.

WHEN will Claimant WebFile launch?
The new Claimant WebFile portal will launch on September 26, 2025.

WHO uses Claimant WebFile?
The Claimant WebFile is for new applicants to the Fund.

Existing claimants should not use WebFile; doing so will create delays in processing.
Victims who have already applied for benefits should not use the WebFile; doing so will create delays in processing.

WHY is Claimant WebFile helpful?
The Claimant WebFile provides a secure and efficient way to apply for benefits. It provides direct access to your pending claim, and you can monitor the status in real time.
